Privacy at the desk.

The note form

The form on Write us posts to a page that shows you what you typed. That page does not call a mail program. It does not write the note to a file. It does not add your address to a list. When you leave the page, we do not have the text. If you want the desk to hold the words, send them yourself to desk@papermoth.shop or bring them in.

Do not put a card number, a password, or anything you cannot stand to see on a screen into that form. There is no reason to. We do not take payment on the site.

Email, phone, and the counter

If you email desk@papermoth.shop, we have that message in the mailbox we read during the first open hour. If you call, and you leave a message, we have the message on the shop phone. If you buy at the counter, the receipt has the ordinary sale: what was counted, the price, and the day. We use those records to answer you and to handle a return. We do not sell them, and we do not trade them for advertising.

Cookies, scripts, and logs

This site sets no cookie and loads no third-party script. There is no analytics tag and no embedded map. The host that serves the pages may keep ordinary connection logs: an address, a time, and the URL requested. We do not use those logs to build a profile, and we do not hand them to an advertiser.

Asking

To ask what mail we still have from you, write desk@papermoth.shop from the same address, or ask at the counter during open hours. Say what you want corrected or deleted. We will do that for mailbox messages and receipts we actually hold. We cannot delete a note the website never stored.
